WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADOLESCENTS

In response to issues of concern raised from PCPC's, Clergy and Youth Workers we are providing an opportunity to understand more about the challenges of working with adolescents and young people in our churches. Matters such as self harm, eating disorders, family problems and the general protection of young people will be the topic of the day. We are fortunate to have the wisdom of Dr Richard Soppitt, Consultant Psychiatrist and Mrs Carol Joliffe, Family Therapist as our main speakers. There will be opportunity to meet your colleagues, air your worries and your questions and relax, lunch is provided.
NB There is no cost for attending this conference.
The conference will be of particular interest to Parish Child protection Co-ordinators, Youth workers and to all Clergy within the Diocese.
Numbers are limited so we recommend that you book early for this conference.
