WEDG is the Development Education Centre (DEC) for East Kent and works with other organisations at a local, regional and national level to promote global justice and equity.

WEDG provides educational services that:

• Enhance people's knowledge and understanding of the issues underpinning poverty in the developing world
• Use active learning methods to foster critical thinking
• Challenge stereotypes and commonly held misconceptions of developing countries
• Highlight links between local and global issues
