Stewardship Programmes - Finance

We will come into your parish to work with you to plan and present a stewardship campaign, tailored to your specific needs.

Our financial stewardship campaigns are based on 'TRIO' - an acronym meaning 'The Responsibility is Ours'. The focus of this programme is a presentation during the main Sunday service, which encourages members of the church family to consider God's generosity to and to review their personal giving.

The presentation covers in a clear and concise way:

• Theological principles underlying stewardship
• Current income and expenditure
• What is needed to place the church on a firm financial footing
• Principles of proportionate giving
• An invitation to reflect on current giving patterns, and review existing commitments

To prepare for a campaign a small planning group will meet two or three times, with the support of the stewardship department. For further information please contact the stewardship department.

Stewardship Programmes - Time and Skills

You stewardship campaign may focus on a presentation on the future plans for your church, and the time and skills you need from your church family to carry these plans forward. The 'time and skills' presentation can incorporate elements of a financial presentation.

Planning for a presentation involving time and skills is similar to the financial 'TRIO' programme.

Taking the Next Step

This programme is designed for parishes which are seeking to grow in their life and discipleship. It encourages all members of the church family to move forward from wherever they are towards a stronger commitment in their personal prayer life, corporate church life and financial giving.

This programme involves a presentation at the Sunday service, and a 'marketplace' with all kinds of tools to help with our Christian life, for example:

• Book stalls
• Prayer workshops
• Demonstrations

The programme encourages parish activities such as:

• House groups
• Quiet days
• Prayer groups
• Study courses

During the week following the presentation members of the church family have the opportunity to respond by identifying the next step for themselves.

This programme is not suitable for parishes which are struggling financially, or with commitment to the life and mission of the Church.
